Remote controls have really came along way in history. The first remote control was made way way back in 1898. It served for army and machine jobs. Then in 1950's the company called Zenith Radio Corporation made the first TV remote control. It was made with a remote connected to wire so you didn't have to get up to turn on the TV and change the channels. This great invention was so expanded in 1955 to the wireless remote control me and you both love today.The wireless didn't involve a long cord and only need a couple batteries

TV Remotes today perform multiple task and store commands you want it to do. And if thats not a enough a web tv remote I recommend buying. Remotes now have brains in them. One tv remote no longer just controls the tv but also entertainment systems, dvd players and cable boxes all in one. Lastly theres even a option to program an extra device to your TV.   


So Today All I ask is Be Thankful That The TV Remote Control was invented along with other great remotes
